Most times we show gratitude for something done to us but never realize the worth of it(i.e appreciation). Gratitude falls gradually in our society today and that’s why we are not appreciative.I can’t just imagine myself not replying or responding to a message sent to me like I experience most people do online. When you send an important message that will help to enlighten/inform them, they keep mute.🤐 We are building a character of non-chalant attitude towards commending what we see and feel about something important/useful.This can even aggravate to our not being thankful to our creator as well and that’s where we are really missing out.
It’s happening here a lot and that’s why we find it hard to attain some heights we ought to have.
Furthermore, reading culture is depreciating too in our society ‘cos it’s when we read, we can realize our mistakes and make a change. How can we learn to change if we don’t read? This a very big question!!!
This yoruba proverb is a big message to me.I’ll put that into cognizance!!!👍
